About PFBC

The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission aims to protect, conserve and enhance the Commonwealth’s aquatic resources and provide fishing and boating opportunities.

State Fish Hatcheries

The PFBC manages 12 state fish hatcheries and one aquatic conservation center. These facilities are responsible for raising and stocking fish and mussels for conservation and recreation.

Waterways Conservation Officers

PFBC officers are trained in waterways conservation and watercraft safety. They also enforce fishing, boating and environmental laws and regulations.
